Horsham Live are pleased to have The Mobile Ark attending on Saturday 11th June at Horsham Sports Club. If you or your children haven’t come across them before then make sure you go to the free kids zone and not only take a look but cuddle, handle and learn about the animals and how to look after them.

 

 

 

 

The Mobile Ark is a family run business based near Horsham, West Sussex. They have rapidly become a household name in Sussex and their popular service is regularly used by local schools, day care centres, nursing homes, fetes and shows.

 

 

They also visit birthday parties, Christenings and weddings providing a unique animal handling experience!

 

 

 

 

 
All of their animals have been carefully selected and hand raised by their staff and as a result, they are very child friendly and as safe as can be for you and your children to enjoy. They have cuddly Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Gerbils, Chicks and Ducklings, as well as more unusual and fascinating African Pygmy Hedgehog, Giant Millepede, Leopard Gecko, Tortoises, Giant Rabbits and lots more!

On Saturday 11 June 2011 the only LIVE outside summer music event in Horsham for this year will be held at Horsham Sports Club (Horsham Cricket Club)  in Cricketfield Road.

Some of Horsham’s finest bands including Chinchilla Zilla, Joe 90, The UK Rideouts and Not Dave, will entertain you with live music on our outdoor festival stage from 2pm with Abba Inferno one of the most popular Abba tributes in the UK performing at 9.30pm.

ABBA Inferno

ABBA Inferno is one of the UK’s most celebrated and high-profile Abba tribute bands. It regularly pulls in sell-out audiences from venues around the country and around the world. The group was formed in the late 1990s with the aim of taking the tribute show to another level. One of the key features of ABBA Inferno is completely live vocals in every performance. There are no back-up vocals on the tracks so the four members are all great singers in their own right – and the girls are also fabulous dancers!

Chinchilla Zilla are an ESTABLISHED four-piece band playing alternative cover songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s through to the present day. The band is made up of: a drummer, bass player, guitarist and lead vocalist: all members of the band share the vocal harmonies. They are an experienced group of musicians who have gained their individual experiences in various bands, playing a diverse range of music, spanning a period of 20 years.

Chinchilla Zilla formed in 2006 and consists of some of the best musicians from other successful local bands. During their period together, the band has gigged at local pubs, private functions and clubs in the Sussex, Surrey and London area, including The Camden Rock Cafe. To date the band has done well over 200 gigs!

All the songs covered are played in the style of the originals, with our own interpretive twist and performed with the same energy and passion you would expect from these artists.

The UK Rideouts are an acoustic/ electric duo , playing a tasty mix of mod and scooter related sounds .

Brent Yeomans and Dave Rees play live so expect to hear favourites and rareties from Paul Weller , The Who, Ocean Colour Scene ,The Small Faces,The Jam and plenty of other tunes from the vaults of groove and style…

Today ( April 1st 2011 ) Peach Entertainments are pleased to announce that we have been chosen as the sole supplier for ALL the entertainment and catering at the Royal Wedding 2011.

 

After numerous secret meetings and discussions we here at Peach Entertainments and the happy couple have designed one of the most stylish and elegant wedding days ever.

 

 

Their black and ivory colour scheme is classic yet contemporary and we will continue this theme in every detail from the bridesmaids dresses to the guest book.

 

 

The couple have requested an intimate event for friends, family and the worlds’ press with pre reception drinks of Fukishima Vodka Jelly Shots on the lawn served by the PG Tips Chimps and serenaded by a Kazoo Quartet.

Our It’s a Knockout has now been running for nearly 15 years and is certainly one of the most popular and entertaining  activities around.

 

The PEACH It’s a Knock Out is a fun packed event and an excellent main arena attraction for a family fun day or corporate challenge.

This year the It’s a Knockout is bigger and better, but still affordable for any fundraising / charity event or for a main arena attraction at your Family Funday.

New games are being designed and added to our list of available Knockout Games and we are working on some tailor made themed games for some of our bigger clients / bookings.

Having organised and run some amazing fundraising Knockouts for charities throughout the UK we understand how to maximise your fundraising and your enjoyment of the event.

 

This year we are already working with The Wiltshire Air Ambulance on their fundraising event . The Air Ambulance need to raise what works out to be £1917 per day to keep flying.  So if you want to see what they do or  a 360 degree tour of one of their helicopters and maybe donate then please have a look at their website.

 

Another client returning for another It’s A Knockout are The Hanborough Playing Fields Association raising money for their community projects and up keep of their playing fields. After last years great success with 120 participants ( and as many if not more spectators ) they are now making it a bigger and better event involving the whole community.

 

We have also provided many Local and District Councils with It’s A Knockout Events for charity and also to highlight local sporting and fitness initiatives. Horsham District Council’s “Sparks in the Park” last year was a tailor made Its A Knockout event where kids and adults turned up and took part in a selection of our It’s A Knockout Games as part of the countrywide Open Weekend London 2012 celebrations when sporting, arts and culture organisations opened up opportunities for everyone across the UK to try something new or take their interest to the next level.
